- Install clean ubuntu 8.04 server. Available from <a href=”http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download”>here</a>.
- Install VMWare Server
- wget http://download3.vmware.com/software/vmserver/VMware-server-1.0.6-91891.tar.gz
- tar -xvvf VMware-server-1.0.6-91891.tar.gz
- cd vmware-server-distrib
- ./vmware-install.pl
- apt-get update
- apt-get upgrade
- apt-get dist-upgrade

New House!

Katie and I will be moving soon. We have a signed contract for our new house. Closing and occupancy in early July. All that is contingent on the inspections going well. That’ll be this week…
Interesting week

Had a little boo-boo with the new TL. It was banged up pretty good, but Katie, who was pilot-in-command at the time faired very well considering how big a crash it was. She walked away from an intersection t-bone.
I’m glad the TL was engineered so well. It really did a great job at taking the brunt of the damage. The metal and plastic is in the shop being repaired. Katie is licking her wounds (bruises and soreness).

I was researching a wide angle lens, the Sigma 10-20mm to use on my Nikon D40. I found Jibbo in the process, a flickr user that has some amazing shots using exactly this setup. Follow the link under the picture to see more of his work. It’s worth the visit, for sure.
